Common Name - Golden Pygmy Angelfish
Scientific name - Centropyge aurantia
Appearance - Orange body with burnt red
vertical bars and a dark ring around the eyes.
Location - From New Guinea through to the
Great Barrier Reef
Comments - Very secretive and shy fish. Should
be kept with minimal, and peaceful, tank mates.
Due to this fishes shyness I would suggest feeding nothing
less than a variety of small bite-size frozen foods, such as mysis shrimp. These
fish require hiding places !!! Tanks with live or decorative corals and rock are great.
Position the rock openly so as to create many passages but do not expect to see
this fish much..
